Landscape Construction Foreman
General Qualifications:
This position is for a full time Working Construction Foreman who has the ability to work independently and/or supervise a team of 1-5 employees.
Candidate must have the ability to understand and read plans/blueprints and provide a wide range of construction methods including carpentry, masonry, planting, irrigation, lighting, etc. as further described below.
Must be able to understand and communicate with supervisors, and crew members, and have a friendly disposition with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Our projects are high-end and detail heavy, and this position requires high attention to detail – candidate should take pride in quality of work provided.
Be comfortable asking questions at any time, and volunteering information when you have valuable expertise to share. We are willing to train the right candidate on some aspects of job, but candidate should be confident with scope of work, and willing to learn and teach others.
Candidate must possess verifiable experience in Landscape Installation work with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a position which has provided candidate with adequate experience in various construction methods listed below.
Must have authorization to work and possess a valid CA driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Work Description:
Plan review, layout, planning, and preparing for new landscape installation projects. Read and understand landscape plans including carpentry, masonry, and engineered details. Able to layout projects onsite with laser level, string lines. etc.
Safely operate company vehicle (F250) and other tools and equipment including laser level, saws, drills, jackhammer, grinders, as well as hand tools such as shovels, rakes, post hole diggers etc.
Carpentry work includes construction of decks, stairs, fences/gates, retaining walls, simple structure framing, etc.
Masonry work includes natural stonework, pavers, concrete paving, simple concrete forms / flatwork, concrete reinforcement, setting boulders, etc.
Plumbing / Electrical: installation of irrigation and low voltage lighting systems
General site work includes demo, digging, trenching, grading, etc.
Able to provide physical labor including heavy lifting (60 lbs.), kneeling, bending, standing, stairs, etc.
Planting with best practices including soil amendments, staking, etc.
Managing daily goals and communicating next steps and plans to team and supervisors – includes making daily list to share with team, and ensuring that all tools, equipment and materials are prepared for the day’s work.

Landscape Construction Laborer
General Qualifications:
This position is for a part time or full time construction laborer. General scope of work to include, but not limited to, digging/grading, hauling debris, laying irrigation/lighting pipe, basic carpentry, running irrigation/drip line, operating various equipment and power tools, moving materials, safely operating/loading pickup trucks. Must be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Ideal candidate has experience working in construction trade, specifically landscape construction. Must be able to understand and communicate with supervisors, and crew members, and have a friendly disposition with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
